Context

The founders of Skellig Six 18 from Cahersiveen, County Kerry on Ireland’s Atlantic Coast approached us at the very beginning of the journey looking for a long term partner to create and launch the brand in Ireland and internationally.



What We Did

Working with Skellig Six18 from its inception, the brand is inspired by and builds back to its value and positioning. The “characterful journey” brand purpose is a universal and timeless storyinspired by the place, its people and the character that comes from living on the edge of the world on the Atlantic coast.


Every touchpoint of the brand is built from brand purpose, the name Skellig Six18 inspired by the 618 steps to the 6th century UNESCO heritage site monastery; the step design on the visual identity;the whiskey Atlantic aged; the gin infused with local foraged botanicals such as yarrow which gives citrus flavour and was also woven into charms by Kerry people for luck on journeys; the communications, advertising and stories told; the innovations and the tour in the visitor center.


We are supporting the brand with a consistent and well resourced purposeful and quality driven strategy enabled by adetailed brand plan designed by industry brand building and commercial experts.


We have further worked with the team at Skellig Six18 to guide their successful export strategy, route to market and sell into retailers in priority markets which we identified and helped open up.

Skellig Six 18 is a growing award winning distillery.

We have identified clear consumer, shopper and occasion targets, reached and engagedmillions of consumers via strong creative driving best in class mental availability.


We have created and designed physical availability support plans complimented by growth drivers supporting distribution expansion.

We are also working with the team exporting to markets on the basis of our proprietary export market identification methodology backed by a clear and focused market prioritization and tiering.
